The Holistic Hospitality Development Corporation (HHCDC) is a non-profit 501c (3) entity. Our primary mission and focus is to assertively advocate for the social, educational, and economic conditions for individuals and families in need. Although our desire is to provide for all families in the Central Pennsylvania area, we believe in taking steady measured steps towards success. Therefore our initial focus is consensus tracks 206, 207 and 208, more commonly referred to as the Uptown Harrisburg Community. The HHCDC also believes in building holistic and culturally effective bridges to benefit the good of our surrounding communities. We carefully select partnering organizations who share parallel missions and visions to effective facilitate positive change.

Break-Thru Support Group is a biblically based, spiritual recovery support group to help those dealing with addiction, in all capacities.

Our mission is to be a biblically-based Christian ministry that is socially responsible and responsive to the needs of God’s people both within the church and in the community.

To provide housing and additional services to those in transition from formal systems back to the community; helping reach their full potential by remaining out of the “system”.

To provide healthy behavior for all ages and improved, sustainable quality of life while providing holistic services such as education, outreach, life skills training and a host of health related services aimed at prevention and providing intervention in regards to health issues within the community.

To develop a community outreach program that will provide student and adult educational support in reading, tutoring, basic computer application instructions, standardized test preparation and college resources. The ministry will focus on the importance of reading because without reading students and adults cannot excel or function in today’s society. Sankofa Scholarship
College Assistance

To assist qualifying high school graduates and College freshman students who demonstrate academic achievement and who demonstrate financial need from the greater Harrisburg area. This scholarship will help students with textbooks. Recipients must be accepted to a two or four year college, university or trade school. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and deadlines to qualify. Applications will be available March 2009.

Program Initiative - The Arts

The Prophetic Arts is the umbrella of which all artistic programs and initiatives reside. The Prophetic Arts comprise of the Annual MAAFA Commemoration, Prophetic Mime Team and Praise Corp. Each bring revelation from the Word of God to the heart of the people through dance, drama, pagentry and music.
